Overview

We help building owners and asset managers decarbonise existing buildings through retrofit analysis, energy audits, and the development of digital twin models that support ongoing operational optimisation and investment planning.

Why It Matters

The vast majority of the buildings that will exist in 2050 have already been built. Decarbonising the built environment is not just about new construction — it requires systematic upgrading of existing stock. Retrofit decisions are capital-intensive and need to be evidence-based. A digital twin approach allows owners to model multiple scenarios, prioritise interventions by ROI and carbon impact, and make a credible business case for investment.

Our Approach

We begin with a comprehensive energy audit (ASHRAE Level 1 or 2) and condition assessment, then develop a calibrated digital twin using metered energy data. We use this model to test retrofit scenarios — envelope upgrades, HVAC replacement, controls optimisation, renewable integration — and produce a costed decarbonisation pathway with clear ROI projections.
